Jr. Designer

We are expanding our design team!  If you are a recent graduate or just starting in interior design we would love to hear from you! 

 

The Basics:

  • Location: Downtown Danville

  • Availability: Part Time, 8-15 hours a week

 

Expectations:

  • Assist with projects from initial meeting to final install to ensure cohesion within project and client satisfaction.

  • Assist Sr. Designer and/or Designer with design boards, sourcing of materials and furniture

  • Attend client meetings on site and/or in the studio, as needed. 

  • Prepare and coordinate products for proposals. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 years experience in a design environment

  • Knowledge of construction process and materials a plus

  • Works well in a collaborative team setting

  • Excellent at time management and multitasking

  • Design within the Eye For Pretty aesthetic 

  • Proficient in Google drive and documents

  • Enrolled or completed CAD and/or Sketch Up course

Shop Associate

Designer

We are expanding our design team!  

 

The Basics:

  • Location: Downtown Danville

  • Availability: Part Time or Full Time

 

Expectations:

  • Attend initial in person meeting with client and work with Onboarding Coordinator to complete project Time Estimate document.

  • Manage project from initial meeting to final install to ensure cohesion within project and client satisfaction.

  • Create drawings and space planning documents in AutoCAD and/or SketchUp.

  • Create and present design boards including but not limited to: space planning, lighting, furniture and finishes based on client specifications and budget. 

  • Assist clients with final selections and approvals.

  • Source all materials for project.

  • Attend client meetings on site and/or in the studio.

  • Respond to client and contractor inquiries and/or requests in a timely manner.

  • Prepare and coordinate products for proposals, as needed. 

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as an interior designer

  • Knowledge of construction process and materials a plus

  • Works well in a collaborative team setting

  • Excellent at time management and multitasking

  • Design within the Eye For Pretty aesthetic 

  • Proficient in Google drive and documents, AutoCAD.  SketchUp a plus
